Terms of Use

Effective date: May 28, 2026

By using materialcalchome.com ("the Site") and the MaterialCalc calculators, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the Site.

Estimates Only

MaterialCalc calculators provide estimates for planning purposes only. Results depend entirely on the values you enter and do not account for local building codes, supplier minimum-order rules, delivery fees, reinforcement requirements, site preparation, labor, taxes, or other project-specific factors.

Always confirm material quantities, prices, and structural requirements with a qualified contractor, supplier, or local building authority before placing an order or starting work.

No Professional Advice

The content on the Site, including FAQs, formulas, example values, and explanations, is for general information only. It is not engineering, construction, legal, or financial advice. MaterialCalc is not a substitute for a licensed contractor, structural engineer, building inspector, or other qualified professional.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Site in ways that:

Intellectual Property

The MaterialCalc brand, page content, calculator interfaces, and the way the formulas are presented and explained on the Site are owned by us or our licensors, unless explicitly noted otherwise. The underlying formulas (volume, area, unit conversion, bag yield) are common industry practice and are not claimed as proprietary.

You may link to any public page on materialcalchome.com without prior permission. You may not reproduce, redistribute, or build derivative commercial products from substantial portions of the Site without our written consent.

Third-Party Links

Some pages on the Site may link to third-party websites for reference. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, privacy practices, or accuracy.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The Site and its calculators are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that calculator results are error-free or that the Site will always be available, uninterrupted, or secure.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, MaterialCalc and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the Site or its calculators. This includes, without limitation, losses resulting from reliance on calculator outputs, incorrect material orders, project delays, or cost overruns.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. The effective date above will reflect the most recent revision. Continued use of the Site after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by applicable laws in the jurisdiction where MaterialCalc is operated, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes will be resolved on a non-class, individual basis, except where such limitation is prohibited by law.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
